We seek an SEO specialist to help boost our traffic, and we welcome any other skills you have. This would be a short-term project and, ideally, something you will feel great pride in moving forward. Over the last five years, we have made a significant difference in our work independently and with many grassroots organizations but recognize the need at this point as we reach out to new important audiences.

The Equip Our Kids! campaign (see EQuipOur Kids.org) is primarily focused on mobilizing parent, business, and public awareness and activism around the enormous benefits to children, schools, and society of bringing emotional intelligence and relationship skills training into every school. We act as a sorely needed but independent nonprofit marketing agency for the concepts of emotional intelligence and social-emotional learning.

It is our belief that this curriculum is the most important education reform and, in fact, social movement of our time because it can teach the skills that, after eons of human conflict and misery, personal and collective. It can finally, on a mass level, transform the way we relate to ourselves and others. We are honored to serve this movement. But to bring it to mass attention in this country, we need the skills of many people. You will be potentially helping make a fundamental and huge difference in many lives.

In many ways, including in team spirit and support, we seek to provide a good experience for our volunteers. Many current and former Taproot volunteers who have helped across our many initiatives have stayed beyond the initial project because of their feeling of support from the team and a meaningful role in helping make a difference.
