We need help going back several years and verifying the accuracy of end-of-year adjustments in our financial books. These adjustments were provided by a retired CPA that we hired to help us with our 990s and end-of-year adjustments; however, they seem to be inconsistent year-to-year. We would also like help determining whether 990 corrections need to be filed.

Our small nonprofit impacts the lives of about 6,000-8,000 persons from southwest Ohio and beyond, ages 2 through 100. We are in need of help as our 990 filings and accounting got very complicated over the difficult course of COVID years, during which we experienced a lot of "firsts" and changes. We are hoping to first back-track and verify the accuracy of our books and recent filings. We are hoping to work with someone who is very detail oriented and who is enthusiastic about educating us so that we are on the same page.

We have worked with a retired CPA on all the fiscal years in question, but we have more questions than he may have the capacity to answer. We have all of our books in AccountEdge, which should come with an accountant's free copy. We have all of our communications, spreadsheets, and work available for review. We are very detail oriented and hoping for someone who will match that level of care.
