Project Overview

We are seeking a marketing and social media expert to develop a crowdfunding campaign strategy for the Only 11 Minutes: Girl's Leadership and Empowerment Program. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by securing grassroots donors through $11 contributions to support the next phase of the program’s development. Once the campaign strategy is created, we will execute the tactics to help accomplish these fundraising goals.

About the Program: Only 11 Minutes is an initiative by Saving Promise, inspired by the heartbreaking statistic that every 11 minutes, a woman or girl is killed by an abusive partner or family member. The program specifically targets girls aged 13-25, a group disproportionately affected by intimate partner violence—1 in 3 girls will experience abuse in a relationship. The program empowers these young women through:
- Education on healthy relationships, to help them recognize and prevent abuse.
- Leadership and skill development, to build their confidence and potential.
- Mentorship moments, connecting them with role models to guide their growth.

Pro Bono Project Goals:
-Develop and implement a compelling crowdfunding strategy.
-Outline tactics to engage grassroots donors via social media and digital platforms.
-Develop campaign key messages that communicates our mission to inspire support during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

We’ve made significant preparations for the Only 11 Minutes: Girl's Leadership and Empowerment Program. We have developed the program strategy, outlining three key pillars: education on healthy relationships, leadership and skill development, and mentorship moments. These elements will empower girls aged 13-25, especially from underserved communities, to break the cycle of intimate partner violence.

We’ve engaged essential partners to help develop the platform and other program elements, including community partners who share our vision. We’ve also conducted outreach to potential collaborators like 4-H and the Boy Scouts of America to expand our reach.

Once the project is complete, we’ll implement it by launching the platform, integrating interactive workshops, pre-recorded content, and mentorship programs. We’re committed to maintaining and expanding the program over time, and we have the necessary materials, team, and dedication in place to ensure success. With the support of a skilled volunteer, we’re confident we can execute a powerful and impactful campaign that drives results.
