QuickBooks Accounting Systems Set Up
Without all of the funding we will not be able to provide the USDOL Registered Apprenticeship Training to so many from Disadvantaged Communities. Also, we are a Clean Energy Apprenticeship -- Residential Electrician & PV Solar Installer We have so many residents from our community waiting and we do not want to disappoint any of them. Yet, we want to stay in compliance at the same time and set up our accounting system the most efficient & correct way as possible. Our Apprentices are Veterans, Women, Minorities, Disabled, Ex-Offenders and Clean Energy Guru's has joined in as well. I am a QuickBooks Certified End User and my Accountant is a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor but we want to make sure our thinking is accurate for the overall end result; pulling the accurate reports to submit to all of the Gov. & Funding Partners as well as setting up our Accounting System so our method of completing everything also helps us with our taxes. We have a new Banker with a Federal Credit Union that is also willing to help make sure our Bank Accounts are set up to match our Accounting systems again for transparency not only to the Gov and funders but for our management team to monitor our financial health. I laugh to myself because when I was going around setting all of this up (acquiring funding commitments) I never thought about our accounting system... As a result it is a maze of wonderful funding from multiple sources to profit and non-profit companies -- All to make sure our residents will have family sustaining careers for decades to come in industries that are not only lucrative but in very high demand. We have been working on this project for over 2 years without any compensation; we are all in our 60's and we all believe in providing transformational training opportunities to individuals in our communities that for whatever reason will not attend a community college yet, they are willing to come to our neighborhood training academy and fight to change the financial projection of their lives and the lives of their families. We will be there with them every step of the way!! Once the accounting is set up correctly we can maintain it; we will have the funding in our budget to hire a CPA for quarterly reviews which will help guarantee our end of the year financials are as they should be. We have no clue on how to set up the maze of financing we will be receiving within 60 days!! Or how this will affect our taxes on the profitable side of things. Nor will the non-profit hundreds of thousands be set up the same way as the profitable? Thank you so very much!! Financially Confused yet, Financially Blessed all at the same time!! Patricia
