My goal for this Taproot Project is to identify potential sponsors for our upcoming SEED Conference—a virtual event focused on clean energy, equity, and innovation in Africa (August 11–15, 2025)—and track communications sent to these prospects. We’re seeking a volunteer to:

Research aligned companies, foundations, and potential sponsors

Draft and customize outreach messages using provided templates

Track responses and maintain a basic outreach log

Assist in identifying in-kind sponsor opportunities (e.g., platform partners, promo support)

We’ll provide an outreach framework, email templates, examples of past partnerships, and background on the event and its audience.

Taproot editor's note: This project should not include any direct sponsorship or donation solicitation on the part of the volunteer.
Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will help elevate African-led climate innovation by securing the partners needed to make SEED a success. The conference brings together grassroots leaders, energy entrepreneurs, and equity advocates from across the continent to collaborate on real-world solutions.

Your work will help us expand access, grow visibility, and build new alliances around just climate action.
Our team has already mapped out the conference goals, theme, and schedule. We've drafted sponsor tiers, messaging, and initial target lists. The volunteer will be given a sponsorship brief, tracking template, and regular feedback to help tailor outreach effectively.

We’ll collaborate via Google Drive and ClickUp, and a point person will be available to guide the process and answer questions as needed.

Organization Mission

Tangelic is a dynamic social impact initiative dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through sustainable energy solutions. We envision a world where access to clean and affordable energy is not a privilege but a fundamental right, driving social and economic development while fostering a healthier planet. Our mission is to spark a global energy revolution, one community at a time. We believe in the transformative power of clean energy to uplift lives, create opportunities, and build a more equitable and sustainable future for all. We work hand-in-hand with local communities, governments, NGOs, and businesses to design and implement innovative solutions that address the unique challenges facing underserved regions. Through our flagship Sunrise Spectrum initiative in Ghana, we are bringing solar power to rural villages, transforming lives by providing access to electricity for homes, schools, and businesses. We are also committed to empowering women and youth through clean cooking solutions, educational programs, and income-generating opportunities. But our vision extends beyond Ghana. We aim to scale our impact across Africa and other underserved regions, leveraging our expertise in renewable energy, community development, and innovative financing to create a lasting legacy of positive change. At Tangelic, we believe that clean energy is not just a technological solution; it's a catalyst for social and economic empowerment. By working together, we can build a brighter future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
