Create Podcasts & Social Media Clips to Promote Manufacturing Careers

Advanced Manufacturing Industry Partnership (AMIP) has recorded videos of approximately 10 young people and manufacturing leaders who work in high-wage, high-growth jobs at member manufacturers in the Cincinnati region. They shared stories of how they found their careers, what they love about their jobs, and recommendations to youth seeking similar employment. We're seeking a skilled volunteer to review the raw video footage, edit that footage, and turn it into podcasts similar to our previous work (link to Spotify will be available). We would also like to create short 15-30 second videos that can be shared on social media.

AMIP’s mission is to build a continuous talent pipeline for and develop the workforce needed by our critical advanced manufacturing industry. "Connect, Collaborate and Build" - In concert with our members, which includes manufacturers, educators and community partners, AMIP programming develops pipelines of job-ready individuals and connects them with advanced manufacturing employment, training, and employability barrier removal support. This project will help with the direct and urgent need to get people who need jobs matched with high wage, high growth jobs in manufacturing.

AMIP’s Board of Directors and Leadership Team is made up of highly committed volunteers who will ensure the success of this project. Our member manufacturers have already spent their time completing the interviews, recording them, and preparing them for video creation. Once the videos are completed, our committed group of marketing volunteers will post the videos on our websites and social media. Our website for job seekers, MakeItCincy, will be where the videos are housed, so that people in need of jobs are exposed to these great careers.
