We want to partner with a skilled volunteer serving to strengthen and elevate the Coalition’s grant writing and fundraising capacity. This volunteer will help us create the strategic systems, messaging, and funding pathways needed to grow our impact and ensure long-term sustainability.

With the support of this volunteer, we aim to create:

✔️ A comprehensive, mission-aligned grant strategy that identifies high-value funding opportunities
✔️ A clear grant calendar outlining deadlines, requirements, and multi-year submission planning
✔️ Strong, polished grant narratives, templates, and boilerplate language for future proposals
✔️ A compelling case for support that communicates our impact and inspires donor investment
✔️ Enhanced fundraising strategy and donor engagement plans that increase revenue stability
✔️ A sustainable revenue-generation framework that strengthens the organization’s ability to scale

This skilled volunteer will play a critical leadership role in shaping how the Coalition grows, raises funds, and serves more families in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade. Their expertise will directly support our mission to change lives, restore dignity, and end homelessness for working families across South Florida.
This project is central to advancing our mission to end homelessness for working families. By strengthening our grant development, fundraising strategy, and donor engagement efforts, this project expands the financial capacity we need to help more families secure and maintain stable housing.

Through this work, we will be able to:

✔️ Increase the number of families we can assist with first, last, and security deposits
✔️ Grow the follow-up services that ensure long-term housing stability
✔️ Build a stronger and more diversified funding pipeline
✔️ Deepen relationships with institutional funders, corporate partners, and individual donors
✔️ Position the Coalition for long-term sustainability and greater regional impact

Enhanced fundraising capacity directly translates into more families housed, more lives stabilized, and more dignity restored. By elevating our financial strength, this project allows us to scale our programs across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade — bringing us closer to our mission of ending homelessness in South Florida.
We will ensure this project is set up for success by providing clear alignment, strong collaboration, and consistent organizational support from day one. Our goal is to create a structured, mission-driven environment where the volunteer’s expertise directly strengthens our fundraising capacity and long-term sustainability.

To support success, we will:

✔️ Provide a thorough onboarding that covers our mission, programs, financial model, and strategic priorities
✔️ Share all relevant grant materials, including past proposals, funder histories, program outcomes, and data needed for strong narratives
✔️ Ensure direct access to the leadership, and committee members for ongoing coordination and strategic discussions
✔️ Set clear goals, milestones, and expectations for grant development, donor engagement, and fundraising strategy
✔️ Provide timely feedback, open communication, and collaborative support for all ideas, drafts, and recommendations

With these supports in place, these Volunteer Member will have the information, access, and partnership needed to build effective grant strategies, strengthen donor relationships, and play a meaningful role in advancing our mission to end homelessness for working families in South Florida.
