Website Copywriting and SEO
The ideal volunteer will bring strong content strategy and SEO expertise to help streamline messaging, highlight our most important work, and ensure our website speaks clearly to clients, partners, funders, and community stakeholders.
Key Focus Areas:
-Refine and rewrite website content to improve clarity, flow, and audience engagement
-Distill complex information into concise, impactful messaging that highlights what matters most
-Assess current content and determine what should be emphasized, revised, or removed
-Strengthen SEO through keyword optimization and search-friendly structure
-Align messaging with our mission, services, and brand voice
-Ensure content is accessible, professional, and optimized for mobile and web audiences
Impact of This Role:
This project will significantly enhance how we communicate our mission and impact, helping us attract clients, partners, and donors while improving usability and visibility across search platforms.
This project directly advances our mission by strengthening how we communicate our work, impact, and values to the communities we serve and the partners who support our efforts. A refined, accessible, and search-optimized website will make it easier for youth, families, schools, and referral partners to find us, understand our services, and connect with timely support.
By clarifying our messaging and highlighting data-driven outcomes, the website will increase trust, transparency, and engagement among funders, collaborators, and policymakers—supporting our ability to secure resources needed to sustain and expand effective, community-centered interventions. Improved usability and mobile responsiveness will also reduce barriers to access, particularly for families navigating complex systems under stress.
Ultimately, this project strengthens our organizational infrastructure so we can focus more effectively on prevention, early intervention, and keeping young people connected to school, community, and opportunity—core to our mission of creating supportive communities where youth and families can thrive.
A primary point of contact will be designated to ensure streamlined communication, prompt feedback, and efficient decision-making. The volunteer will have access to relevant content, data, and stakeholders needed to inform messaging, structure, and technical recommendations.
We will establish a shared project timeline with defined milestones, deliverables, and regular check-ins to maintain alignment and momentum. Our team is committed to being responsive, open to expert guidance, and prepared to make timely decisions. We view this engagement as a true partnership and will actively collaborate to ensure the volunteer’s expertise is fully leveraged and the project is completed successfully.
