Grant readiness and proposal review

Review 1–2 draft grant proposals or core sections (need statement, program description, outcomes), provide written feedback and suggested edits, review how the preliminary budget and outcomes are presented, and advise on common funder expectations and next steps or funder priorities. Supporting materials will be provided; details will be discussed with volunteers.

Improved grant narratives and budgets will increase our competitiveness for reentry, maternal health, housing stability, and family reunification funding, helping secure startup resources to launch services that support mothers on their journey back to their children with safety, compassion, and needed resources.

We will provide mission and vision statements, organizational background, draft program descriptions, preliminary budgets, and our 501(c)(3) letter, and be available for regular check-ins. Volunteers will deliver clear written edits and recommendations that our team can incorporate to strengthen applications for pilot funding. Details will be provided.
