About the Opportunity

The New Integrity Generation is a newly soft-launched public initiative exploring integrity through personal stories of choice, consequence, regret, reflection, and growth. It grows out of Film Your Issue, which I founded with Walter Cronkite, and Everyone Matters — earlier initiatives with established social media accounts, followers, videos, and other digital content.

Our guiding principle is “Integrity is Personal.” At the heart of the initiative is When No One's Watching, inviting people of all generations to share brief personal video reflections about choices they're proud of, choices they regret, and people whose integrity has influenced their lives.

New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof and Brad Rourke, Head of DC Operations at the Kettering Foundation, have already contributed personal video reflections.

Our website is now live:

https://theintegritygeneration.com

Our website and visual identity are developed, but we now need to create a strong, coherent social media presence for The New Integrity Generation without unnecessarily starting from scratch.

We need help determining which existing accounts and audiences should be retained, transitioned, or connected; how best to reuse valuable existing content; and where new accounts should be established.

We're seeking an experienced social media strategist who can help us make smart decisions about account structure, audience transition, and initial setup so the initiative launches with a strong foundation.

The larger opportunity is to build more than a social media following: to encourage people to contribute their own stories and participate in a growing, intergenerational conversation about integrity.

We are looking for a volunteer with Social Media Marketing and Brand Strategy expertise to audit our current presence, recommend an account transition approach, establish our initial social media profiles, and develop a practical launch plan.

The volunteer will:

Audit existing social media accounts, including Film Your Issue, Everyone Matters, and other active accounts, identifying audiences, content assets, overlap, and material worth retaining or repurposing.

Recommend which accounts and audiences to retain, transition, consolidate, or retire, and how to connect existing followers and content to The New Integrity Generation.

Establish and optimize The New Integrity Generation profiles on priority platforms identified through the audit, including consistent handles, bios, links, and profile/cover imagery.

Develop a concise launch strategy and prioritized roadmap for introducing the initiative, transitioning existing audiences where appropriate, and managing our social media presence going forward.

Offer creative recommendations for encouraging public participation, especially inspiring people of different generations to record and share personal reflections about integrity and helping those stories reach new audiences.

We value practical expertise, imagination, and storytelling instincts.

Success means an organized social media presence, a clear approach to existing accounts and audiences, and an achievable launch plan. The goal is not simply to gain followers, but to inspire people to contribute their own stories and reflections.

Organization Mission

The New Integrity Generation is an initiative to spark a public conversation about integrity — how it is shaped through moments of choice, consequence, regret, reflection and growth. Through personal stories and reflection, we invite people of all ages to explore the choices we make — the ones we're proud of, the ones we regret, and the ones that stay with us. By listening to one another and reflecting honestly on our own lives, we hope to deepen our understanding of ourselves, each other, and how we want to live going forward.
