Getting Started with UTM Tracking

I'm looking for assistance getting started with UTM tracking at my organization, Plant Powered Metro New York. I design marketing materials for our organization, and I've known for some time that UTM tracking is important for measuring results. I have even looked into some of the set up, but I would love assistance from someone experienced with setting up UTM tracking to guide me through the process and suggest a simple but appropriate structure that makes sense for PPMNY's needs.
