Grandmothers’ Village Project is seeking to strengthen our social media presence and build greater visibility and engagement around our mission, projects, advocacy, and community work. As a volunteer-led nonprofit, we need a clear, sustainable approach to social media and marketing pathways that can be implemented consistently without requiring significant staff capacity. We are seeking a pro bono social media and marketing professional to help us develop a repeatable content planning process and compelling messaging that reflects our identity as an Indigenous-led organization serving marginalized elders and intergenerational communities. We are looking for someone who can combine strategic audience development with hands-on content creation, helping us determine how to reach these audiences while also developing content we can immediately put to use.
By the end of this project, we would like a practical, reusable content marketing and social media framework that strengthens Grandmothers’ Village Project’s visibility and helps us deepen engagement with our elders and communities while expanding our reach to professional, institutional, and philanthropic audiences. The consultant would help us:-Develop a reusable monthly content calendar with clear themes and a realistic posting schedule-Create 15–20 ready-to-use posts that reflect our mission, projects, advocacy, community work, long-term vision, and the voices and interests of the elders and communities we serve-Strengthen our messaging so that it continues to connect with our community while also reaching potential funders, donors, professional and institutional partners, and people working in housing, community development, finance, philanthropy, sustainability, and related fields-Identify practical ways to adapt and share content across key platforms, including LinkedIn, for different audiences-Help us establish a simple, repeatable process that future communications volunteers or team members can continueThe final deliverables would give GMVP ready-to-publish content along with a sustainable framework we can continue using after the engagement ends.
