IAF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entering a 3 year growth cycle focused on regional expansion and partnerships with local and national partnership and funding. We need more systematic approach to finding opportunities that fit our mission and writing competitive applications to meet our mission. What is getting in the way is time and specialized expertise. Our founder leads programs, operations, and fundraising at once, so grant research happens in bursts and applications are written under deadline pressure. We are looking for a volunteer with grant writing experience to prepare applications our leadership can review and submit. Time commitment is approximately 2 to 5 hours per week, fully remote, flexible timing.
For this project, we expect experienced grant writers support to create:1. Three grant applications written and prepared for review, drawing on our existing program materials, outcomes, and budget information2. Reusable content (organizational narrative, program descriptions, and outcome statements) for future applications. This part will be with support of development team. Success looks like submission-ready applications aligned with our mission and funder priorities.
