AriCares Childcare Center LLC is preparing to develop its first extended-hours childcare center in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. We have identified a facility for the project, but substantial capital improvements and professional services are needed before the space can be completed and licensed for childcare use.

The project requires funding and in-kind support for architectural services, HVAC, fire suppression, ADA accessibility improvements, bathrooms, electrical work, interior construction, materials, equipment, and other facility improvements.

AriCares has already secured fiscal sponsorship and built support from government, business, and community partners. We are actively pursuing grants, corporate support, donated materials, discounted professional services, and in-kind construction assistance. Our challenge is developing a coordinated fundraising and business-development strategy that brings these opportunities together and helps us secure the resources necessary to complete the facility.

We are seeking a Taproot volunteer with fundraising, corporate partnership, sponsorship, or business-development experience who can help us build a strategic approach to funding the construction project and engaging potential partners.

By the end of this project, the consultant will deliver a comprehensive construction fundraising and partnership strategy for the AriCares Pottstown childcare facility.

The strategy should include recommended funding approaches; identification and prioritization of potential corporate, philanthropic, and community partners; strategies for securing donated or discounted construction labor, materials, architectural services, and professional services; sponsorship and partnership recommendations; outreach strategies; and a structured plan for approaching prospective partners.

The final deliverable should provide AriCares with a clear, actionable roadmap for securing the financial and in-kind resources needed to complete the facility buildout and move the Pottstown center toward opening.
